DealShare is a community where people share deals, savings tips, and help each other find the best prices. These guidelines help keep DealShare safe, respectful, and useful for everyone.
By using DealShare, you agree to follow these guidelines. Violating them may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent bans.
Be Respectful
- Treat other users with kindness and respect.
- No harassment, bullying, threats, or intimidation.
- No hate speech, discrimination, or content targeting individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, gender, religion, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic.
- Disagreements are normal — keep them civil and constructive.
Share Honestly
- Only share deals that are real, accurate, and available.
- Do not post misleading, fake, or expired deals intentionally.
- Clearly disclose if you have an affiliate relationship with a product or store.
- Do not impersonate other users, brands, or organizations.
No Spam or Scams
- Do not post repetitive, irrelevant, or promotional content.
- Do not use DealShare to promote scams, phishing, or fraudulent schemes.
- Do not post links to malware or harmful websites.
- Self-promotion is allowed in moderation, but must provide genuine value to the community.
Keep It Safe
- Do not share content that is sexually explicit, violent, or graphic.
- Do not post personal information of others (addresses, phone numbers, financial details).
- Do not encourage illegal activities or the sale of prohibited items.
- Content must comply with all applicable local laws and regulations.
Protect Minors
- DealShare requires users to be at least 13 years old (16 in Australia).
- Content harmful to minors is strictly prohibited.
- Do not attempt to contact minors for inappropriate purposes.
Respect Intellectual Property
- Do not post content you do not have the right to share.
- Respect copyrights, trademarks, and other intellectual property rights.
How to Report
If you see content that violates these guidelines:
- Posts: Tap the three-dot menu on any post and select "Report."
- Comments: Tap the flag icon next to any comment.
- Users: Visit their profile and tap "Report."
- Messages: In the chat, tap the menu and select "Report User."
- General issues: Use "Report a Problem" in Settings.
All reports are reviewed by our team. We take every report seriously and will act promptly.
Consequences
Depending on the severity and frequency of violations:
- Warning: First-time minor violations may receive a warning.
- Content removal: Violating content will be removed.
- Temporary suspension: Repeated violations may result in a temporary account suspension.
- Permanent ban: Severe or repeated violations will result in a permanent ban.
We reserve the right to take any action we deem necessary to protect the community.
Changes to These Guidelines
We may update these guidelines from time to time. Continued use of DealShare after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated guidelines.
